Made It

Well, I completed the Athens Classic Marathon this past Sunday! Walked it in 7 hours and 5 minutes, 30 seconds. My friends, Kelly and Jan, also finished, along with my other walking partner, Judy. I'll post more pictures later--Jan's husband Dave acted as "official race photographer and encourager."

That's impressive!
BTW, I just noticed in your profile you are a fan of Chagall and Klee - two of my absolute favorites.

Hello Laurie,
More than 7 hours and you look so well, incredible!

If I end up moving back to the Northwest, maybe we can walk together sometime. We're probably moving to Vancouver, WA at the end of January.

You should consider the Athens marathon--it's only a short trip! And Greek salads are amazing too.

I want to go see the Chagall stained glass windows in France. He worked in quite a few mediums, didn't he?

Actually, I felt pretty good after the 7 hours--mainly my feet really hurt. Thanks!
