Oh I love Chariots of Fire--it is in my personal DVD collection. From the moment the music starts, the runners slo-mo on the beach, etc. I just love it. It presents a very idealized kind of Olympics.

I saw it in a 16-seat theater on a resort military island off of the Philippines in the early '80s and then again just recently here on t.v. Loved it.
We have it on video and have watched it many times. It is right at the top of my list of favourite movies. (I should buy it on DVD!)
I have not seen Chariots in years. maybe I need to revisit that movie.
I love Murphy about town. my dog, too, will not sit still for a photo op. Just not interested in the publicity I guess.
