Murphy Monday -- For Judy

Judy in Indiana always makes lots of comments about Murphy's pictures, so this one's for her.

Murphy sniffing the tulips that Danielle brought back from Amsterdam a few years ago. He reminds me of Ferdinand the bull in "The Story of Ferdinand," by Munro Leaf, illustrated by Robert Lawson -- a bull who likes to sit just quietly and smell the flowers.
P.S. Although, we shouldn't forget that this sweet-faced canine enjoys chasing cats. And anything else that runs.

GREAT photo! Those tulips look so velvety. I'll have to look for the Ferdinand book. Sounds fun.

Well, that is one way to call me out! I had not noticed that I always comment on Murphy, but you are probably right. I am a dog lover. I unashamedly admit it. Fluffy dogs that are an average size are the best. You know, not to big, not too small, friendly looking.

And even if you do say that Murphy is a Noodle Head, he sure is adorable!

He does look like Ferdinand in the photo. I'll have to find a story about something hyperactive and always on guard to compare my dog to.
