A few days ago, I got an email from Brian Doyle, editor of Portland magazine. My poem, Rwandan Litany, is coming out in the March 2007 issue. That was a nice dose of encouragement.

Thanks, everyone! I'm waiting for Portland's spring issue to appear online, but it usually links only to selected articles, not poetry. University of Portland distributes magazines on campus and donors & alumni receive them in the mail. I'll have to check on copyright rules re: posting the poem online...
